Bean Patties

This is a great picnic food item, and you can use these delicious and plant-based patties in wraps, with a burger bun, or with rice and veggies as part of a dinner bowl.

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

  2. Boil potatoes until they are softly cooked.

  3. With the peel on, mash potatoes with a wooden spoon until they are pureed.

  4. Add beans, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic, grated onion, and spices to the potatoes, and kneed as you would dough until a mixture forms.

  5. On an ovenproof sheet, place formed patties and drizzle with olive oil. Bake until golden brown (about 20-30 minutes).
